Barbara Bietz

Children's author, freelance writer, teacher and mother, Barbara Bietz was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley in southern California. She earned her BA and Master's degree in Education at the University of Arizona. Barbara writes a monthly column for FamiliesOnlineMagazine.com and contributes children's book reviews and articles to Jewish Book World. Barbara is an active member in the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. She currently resides in Ventura County, California with her husband, two children and three dogs.
